This low loft bed is exactly what I ordered. Assembling it was a little bit of a pain because the instructions were a little vague on which direction the board should be facing. Otherwise very sturdy all the prices were there and my daughter loves it ?In general- the kids love it. But,, the slide is too steep and the step at the end is painful for the kids. So they used the slide the first few days and don't want to slide anymore. Also, it took us 4.5 hours to put it together (we consider ourselves handy). We switched the side of the ladder,, but it required extra effort. You can't change the side the slide is on. There were a few screw holes missing for normal setup and the slide rail was defective and required some work to fix.I wouldn't recommend to get the the bed with the slide. It is a nice feature at first, and then not being used.I purchased this for my 4 year old daughter amd she loves it. It's just high enough for her to have a little reading area underneath and allows for some toy storage! I do wish the steps were flat wood instead of circular rods because when my daughter gets up to use the bathroom at night she has slipped a couple times while wearing socks. That is truly my.only complaint.I like that it’s a little tall so it has space for the toys under , I do not like that it’s not really sturdy ! I bought a different shorter loft bed for $60 less for my other child and it’s way sturdier . I would return it but it’s done being build and box was throw out alreadyVery wobbly and poorly designed. There is a 2-3" gap between my daughters twin mattress and the twin frame. The wooden slats that hold the mattress are not long enough to be drilled in without them splitting. There are also not enough of them, leaving the mattress to sink through. I tried to space them out evenly but there were just not enough wooden slats. I now have to go out and buy wood to reinforce this bed so it is safe for my child. I'd return but it is not worth the hassle.Perfect hight for my daughter with plenty of room to grow, she is 4!I bought two for my boys and they love them Im very happy with The quality they are sturdy and easy to assemble.Easy to put together & my son loves his new bed! Perfect for what I was looking to conserve space and put his dresser directly underneath.
