Over all nice bed. Didnt take nearly as long to assemble as some of the reviews suggested, I did it by myself. It did come very scratched up, i didnt realize how nicked it was until it was all together. Nothing I cant fix with a small can of paint.The pictures do not give it justice! This is the neatest bunk bed I've ever seen! A place to sleep on top and a table to play and do homework!My son loves his bed!! It wasn’t very hard to put together. I put most of it together and then waited for my husband to help me connect it all. There were a couple of spots that the holes were not drilled so we had to add one ourselves but overall it’s a great bed for the money!! I also love that it basically sits on the ground because me son isn’t the best at staying in bed. ?I kept searching and searching for the perfect bunkbed for my kids. This was the best purchase!! Very sturdy, beautiful color, stairs are perfect for my 2 yr old. The slide is their favorite!! Nice storage under the steps.Definitely a great buy, and a very sturdy product. But word to the wise make sure to clear your day, and ask someone to help you put it together because it will definitely take a few hours. But once its complete it looks greatIt took us 5.5 hours to put together. I was expecting a few hours but wow. Directions were not clear. Missing so many screws and pieces, luckily we just took a part our crib and were able to use most of those pieces.I highly doubt it holds 400lbs. It doesn’t feel sturdy enough. The slats are too far apart, I need to get ply wood to put on top to ensure the bed holds.You get what you pay for. Make sure your kids don’t horseplay on it.
