Make sure to check your boxes for parts - mine was missing all the hardware but customer service did ship out the missing pieces to me quickly. Instructions were ok - not always great details or large enough images or clear pictures. Put a few pieces backwards that could have been prevented with a little better instruction booklet. Took about 3 hours with 2 people - probably would have been quicker with clearer instructions. It’s not the sturdiest feeling bed - we may bolster it with some extra support. The little desk at the bottom just sits on the rails and may need more support. And the toy chest needs something to help prevent slamming fingers (we put on felt feet). But overall it wasn’t too bad and my 7 year old daughter just loves it. We’ll see how it holds up over time. Thus far, great purchase for the priceIt took a while to put together,and it was frustrating,but worth it.I was able to assemble this loft mostly by myself. I only needed an extra set of hands long enough to screw the bed frame together. The directions were easy enough to follow, besides the ladder showing 5 rungs on the paper and only pre-drilled holes for 4 rungs. Once I confirmed I had the right pieces I just assembled it with 4 and it works fine.I would not suggest this loft for an older child. My daughter is 6 and this is perfect for her. It wobbles just a bit (which is expected with a loft) but not too much to be of concern. I would not feel comfortable with an older, heavier child using this bed regularly. For now it’s a great space saver and serves its purpose. Good thing my girl is petite!Instructions were hard to readThis bed is perfect for our three year old. However, it did take us 5 hours to put together.This bed ,once assembled, is fabulous!. The instructions are terrible and the pictures are so small its more of a guessing game you hope to get right. It took my husband and son 5hrs to assemble!! Once they finished it was perfect. We love to option of the bottom bunk to be a seating area or bed as needed. Its sturdy and we love to addition storage. Its perfect for my daughters smaller room.
