I have a furniture store, but I could not find any vendor that had this bed. With that being said it was not extremely hard to build but definitely challenging to make things fit flushly. The dresser was not designed well and did not look proportional. The wood is solid. But I would definitely keep your options open and see beds you n person before purchasing.This was impossible to put together , missing parts and wobbly .As others have said, the assembly instructions were more than awful. Pieces were labeled incorrectly both on the actual part and in the instructions. Not only were the instructions not even close to being detailed enough for a big build like this, but they were riddled with errors. The drawers are awful once assembled. Barely pull out and back in without forcing them. After attempting to do it on my own, I gave up and hired someone to assemble it. Even with their extensive knowledge of building things like this, it took them 6 hours to assemble.This was the worst thing I have ever purchased on Amazon. I enjoy assembling furniture, but this was a nightmare. Not only were there FAR too many pieces, but the instructions were not detailed enough. I actually had to saw boards (they were made too long), drill holes in the wood (where it was supposed to have already been done), & use my own screws for areas they didn't provide them long enough. After it taking 4 people, 2 days to assemble, it is not sturdy and things are falling off! Even if I had paid for assembly, it wouldn't be worth it because the bed is such bad quality.Some of the worst directions I've ever seen with poor quality control. Some of the bolts had no threads on it, and they only sent the exact number of that bolt. I have 50 extra of some of the other items though. Directions are not detailed enough to not assemble and realize halfway through you need to pull it apart to turn a piece around. Once built, sturdiness is OK, but there is so much to be desired. Bought smaller twin bed loft sets for another child that was easier to build and more sturdy than these.This bed took well over 60 minutes to assemble. The directions were not easy to understand. A lot of the directions had the incorrect numbers. We were missing some pieces. Based on directions alone, I would not purchase again.The bed comes completely disassembled.We spent 6 hours just unpacking and sorting out the parts.The bed is way too complicated to assemble, and you will regret your purchase because you will be spending 2 days or more just putting it together.☹
