Easy to assemble as long as you follow the instructions. Comes with a wall attachment hook, something I do recommend for extra support and sturdiness. The bottom of the bed has enough room to slide in a metal futon sofa bed (full-size), so I opted to not attach the desk (included with this loft bed). This loft bed really flatters the bedroom and helps create more space.
