I wasn’t sure about ordering something like this from Amazon, so I’m not totally surprised by the issues we’ve found. There are several scratches, peeling paint, and a big crack in one of the large drawer segments. One of the smaller wood pieces was snapped in half, it’s pretty easy to replace, but just so everyone knows what they are getting into. Overall, it was a pretty complicated and time consuming build, but that also wasn’t a surprise. We didn’t figure it would be easy with such a huge piece of furniture. It does seem to be fairly sturdy, and for the price, the damage isn’t a huge shock.
