Was very pleased that this bed came sooner than expected. We had been waiting for a loft bed to be in stock at ikea for awhile & decided to look elsewhere. Was able to assemble myself with just a little help from my 7 & 9 year old. The bed shakes a bit but I think that is to be expected with any loft bed, especially one this tall. There was one piece of wood that was cracked but once put together it was in a place that is covered & non-weight bearing so no issue. My daughter loves the desk & all the room it gives her. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because at 9 years old she’s hesitant to sleep on it because it’s so tall. So she’s sleeping on blankets on the floor until she’s a bit more brave. She loves the lights we were able to hang underneath & loves her room overall despite sleeping on the floor.
